My focus turns to Spring Training. Cincinnati Reds pitchers and catchers report Monday to Goodyear, Arizona, and will have their first workout together on Wednesday.

On Jan. 13, the Reds announced “a new linear and digital rights agreement with Main Street Sports, owner of FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports), to produce and distribute Reds game telecasts in 2025.” This was revealed after the Reds “previously announced an arrangement with Major League Baseball to produce and distribute their local games for the 2025 season,” though, this also means viewers “will now be able to stream games on the FanDuel Sports Network app by authenticating with their pay TV credentials or purchasing a DTC subscription,” according to a release.
“Our top priority is to make sure Reds games are accessible to our fans,” Reds Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Doug Healy stated in a release. “The decision to stay with FanDuel Sports Network provides continuity for our fans to watch Reds games as in previous seasons, and now with a direct-to-consumer streaming product available through the FanDuel Sports Network app.”
According to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com, “Reds pitchers and catchers are scheduled to undego physicals on Tuesday” prior to their first workout together the next day. Reds position players will undergo physicals next Sunday, and the team’s first full-squad workout will be Feb. 17.
