The Dayton Dragons announced Thursday that Day Air Ballpark will host the 25th Season Celebration Game with the Reds presented by Winsupply on March 25 at 6:10 p.m.

The game will feature the Major League team against “a team consisting of Reds minor league prospects,” according to a release. It will be the Reds’ final game of Spring Training and be played two days before Opening Day on March 27 against the San Francisco Giants.

The Dragons will hold their 25th season of professional baseball in Dayton in 2025 with their Opening Day April 4 in West Michigan before their home opener April 8 against Fort Wayne. This special event will be similiar to ones held at the ballpark prior to the regular season in 2009 and 2017.

“As the Dragons celebrate our 25^th season in Dayton, we are thrilled to be able to say thank you to our fans by partnering with the Reds with this great event at Day Air Ballpark,” Dragons President Robert Murphy stated in a release. “This game, presented by Winsupply, will be the first of many events as we celebrate our 25^th season. Dragons baseball has become a great tradition since we played our first game in 2000, and many of our players have gone on to become key members of the Reds in Cincinnati.”
