CINCINNATI — The Reds are one game away from being swept for the first time this season, and Shohei Ohtani will stand in the way in his latest start on the mound.

Ohtani went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts Tuesday as Los Angeles claimed the series in a 5-4 win. Former Red Alexis Diaz earned the win and Will Smith had the go-ahead single in the ninth inning.

Ohtani has a 1.50 ERA in 12 innings across six starts. He has 13 strikeouts and gave up his first home run to Byron Buxton last time out July 21 against Minnesota.

Elly De La Cruz has hits in both games against the Dodgers and had an RBI last night.
