CINCINNATI — Pete Rose Night at Great American Ballpark is tonight as the Cincinnati Reds host the Chicago White Sox.

One day after commissioner Robert D. Manfred Jr.’s historic policy decision on players who have passed away while on the permanently ineligible list, reinstating Pete Rose, “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and 17 others, the two teams meet in the middle game of a three-contest series.

Nick Lodolo will make his ninth start of the season for the Reds. Davis Martin, a 14th-round draft pick in 2018 from Texas Tech, will start on the mound for Chicago.
